7th Cavalry Guidon: 13 horizontal stripes of alternate colours red and white with a large v cut from the fly end. 35 stars arranged in two cirlces with one in each corner of the canton.
Probably most famous as the image of the US Cavalry during the Great Sioux War of 1876-77 where Lieutenant Colonel George A. Custer was killed at the Battle of the Little Bighorn on 25th June 1876.
